It’s now been a couple of months since my unrealistic Bieber experience. On January 15th 2013, I was Justin’s OLLG in New Orleans, Louisiana. I’m not lying when I tell you it still feels like this dream that I haven’t woken up from. Here’s how it happened. I was standing, singing and crying (of course haha) in section D, row 1. I saw someone from Justin’s crew. I knew it wasn’t Allison because lets face it.. who doesn’t know what Allison looks like! It was this other girl, and she would walk up and down my section, and then disappear for a few minutes. Then I finally caught on and was like, “Mom, I think she is picking the OLLG.” Literally within the next 3 minutes she walked down my isle one last time, stopped right in front of me and was like, “Come with me.” Immediately, my mom knew what was happening and my best friend that I took was speechless. The girl that picked me was named Jenn and she was the sweetest thing in the world. As we were walking backstage, she kept asking me all these questions. The walk to backstage was possibly the longest walk in my life, and the whole time I was thinking, ‘omg wow, this can’t be happening.’ I started crying and Jenn looks at me and was like, “Awhh you’re so adorable, are you gonna make it haha?” and I was like, “Yes, and I’m gonna stop crying when I get on stage.” She stated laughing some more and was like, “No no it’s fine. We can deal with criers.” After lots of small talk behind the stage while BAAB was on, Justin started singing OLLG and some girls from the side of the stage could see me and they started screaming, “OMG you’re the luckiest girl in the world right now.” They were so right, I was beyond the luckiest girl. There was 15,000 girls in that arena and I just so happened to get picked. Jenn started to back away and was like, “Are you ready, it’s your time,” and I didn’t even know what was going on at this point. I was so out of it because things like this don’t happen to normal girls like me. When they opened those curtains, Justin’s dancers walked me to Justin and he helped me into my chair and put the flower crown on my head. I was just in complete shock and I was breathing so hard. All I wanted to do was hug him and thank him. After the song when he was walking me off stage, he stopped and was like, “What’s your name” and I was like, “Ugh Franki!” and he was like “Franki?” and I said yeah. Justin said, “Give it up for Franki!” It was so amazing and words can’t describe this at all. I’m having trouble explaining because I can’t find the words to tell you about this. Backstage he hugged me and just like that he was gone but I got a guitar pick from Dan, and a congratulations from Kenny. The second I got off stage, reality sorta hit and I was in tears. I ran up to Jenn and hugged her and thanked her so much for letting me have this experience. That is MBE and I’m so thankful to get this opportunity! I really do wish I could have gotten the opportunity to meet Allison or Alfredo, or have a conversation with Justin, but the fact that I’m even able to say I was one of Justin’s OLLG is so crazy and special.
