My name is Mica, a 15-year old girl who didn’t start out to be a Bieber fan. At first I thought he was just “one of the popstars” until I realized that he definitely has talent. Not only can he sing, he can also dance well, play the guitar, drums, and piano which are the characteristics of a true musician and performer. On May 10, 2011, Justin visited Manila, Philippines , my hometown, for his My World Tour. The moment I found out he was performing here, I immediately asked my mom for a meet and greet pass. My mom Grace works for MCA Music Philippines, the record label handling Justin Bieber. I was certain that she would be giving tickets, but I really wanted to meet him in person. Luckily, my wish came true and my mom got us a meet and greet opportunity . I am very grateful because things like these happen only once in a lifetime. On the day itself, I totally prepared myself. When we were about to leave the house, my mom called and said the ticket got misplaced! We searched the house for it and while my dad was tearing open every bag he saw, tears suddenly poured down my cheek. I was really scared I couldn’t go to the concert and I kind of got pissed at my mom for that. But after 10 minutes of searching, my dad finally found it! It was a long drive to Mall Of Asia, the concert and meet and greet venue. When we arrived, I walked as fast as I could to the holding area. We waited 3 long hours for the meet and greet, and when it finally came, I felt my heart skip a beat. I saw him in his checkered polo and rushed to his side and hugged him. He was very warm and welcoming and he greeted us with a smile. The room was illuminated with blue light and the cameras flashed and I still couldn’t believe that I’m beside him. When the bodyguards were asking us to leave, I hugged him for the last time and uttered “I love you” because I guess, that was the shortest thing I could’ve said.
