Scooter Braun if you are reading this, you have absolutely no idea how much we want to thank you. On May 2 rd we went to Justin Bieber’s first Melbourne concert. We were sitting in on the floor in Row N. During ‘Never Let You Go’, we saw Kenny and Allison, ask the girl sitting directly behind us if she wanted to be the OLLG. She said no, and we were in shock! The concert continued and Justin was amazing! After the concert we had a sleepover and couldn’t stop thinking about it, and how much we wanted to go again, even though we didn’t have tickets. We arrived at Rod Laver Arena at 2pm the next day with a poster saying, ‘We don’t have tickets
’. After a long time of waiting, a van drove in and it was Scooter. Although way more girls were there now, we were determined for Scooter to see us and our poster. The van stopped at the entrance and Scooter pointed at the poster and shrugged his shoulders, which basically meant a maybe, but we knew it meant no. At this time there were about 200 girls, Ryan had pointed at our poster there and then Justin’s black Mercedes van had finally arrived. Everyone went crazy! Justin got out of the van, and nothing really happened and he went straight inside. We felt like that was our last chance and we started to believe that the saying “Never say never” wasn’t true. Then, Scooter can outside again and told the screaming mass of girls to be quiet. But this didn’t stop us, we continued to yell, “Scooter read the poster!” Finally we caught his attention, and he pointed out to us saying, “Girl in the white jumper (Ella) and girl in the brown jumper (Sarah), you two come down here.” By this stage Alessia was almost in tears and shouted out to Scooter, “Can I come to, I’m with them!” Lucky enough, he let her come too. When we got to the entrance of the car park there were 3 security guards who were pushing us away saying we couldn’t go through. A security guard (part of Justin’s crew, not Kenny) then came and defended us and said that we were with Scooter. Before we knew it we were walking through the zoned off area that seemed impossible to reach! When we walked in the doors, Scooter greeted us and said, “Hi girls, I want you to do something, but you’re not getting tickets and you’re not meeting Justin, just take a seat at this table and I’ll be right back.” We were really excited and then Scooter came back with his laptop. He opened it and played us a video that no one else had seen. We gave him our honest opinion and chilled with him for around 30 minutes. During that time we saw so many recognisable faces from Justin’s crew and said hello to Dan Kanter (possibly the best guitarist in the world!). From a distance we could hear Justin’s voice , and started to freak out..a little. Scooter then told us to stay calm. We turned around and there he was smiling at us realising what we were doing with Scooter. We were talking to Scooter a little longer, and then he left to go and get something. He came back and said to us “So you don’t have tickets?” Alessia was the only one out of us who did have a ticket and then Scooter asked to see it. She pulled it out, he looked at it and said, “You have pretty good tickets”. (Row b, on the Floor.) He then pulled out something form his pocket and we didn’t realise what it was, until he held them up and started looking through them. They were tickets! “Row F is pretty good, but you guys are sitting in Row A!” We felt like this was a dream, we had seen this happen in the movie and NEVER thought that it would happen to US! Kenny then walked over to Scooter. Scooter then got up and we asked for a hug and picture. Kenny took the photo and we gave him the letters for Justin and two packets of Tim tams, he seemed pretty happy. We talked to him for a bit and then we were ushered out the front door by security. On our way out we turned around and saw Justin getting his dinner. We tried to get his attention, but he didn’t hear us. We walked out and all the girls that were screaming for Justin were now screaming for us. We felt so blessed that Scooter had chosen us out of all those girls. This experience taught us to NEVER SAY NEVER. We were so close to giving up, but it just proved to us that we didn’t need to have connections to experience something so great . Experiencing the concert front row was INCREDIBLE! Justin looked at us so many times! We want to thank Scooter Braun SO MUCH, this was the most amazing experience of our lives and one that we will never ever forget! We can’t stop smiling. -@sare_mcilraith, @ellaaaxox and @Alessia863
