This is my Bieber experience, it’s a bit different than the usual meet & greet ones. When Justin Bieber brought the My World Tour to Melbourne, Australia in April/May 2011, I was focused on one thought “Justin Bieber is in my city. I am not staying home whilst he is only 20 minutes away, this kind of thing doesn’t happen often and I’m going to try my absolute hardest to try and meet him or make contact with him” A lot happened over those few days so I’ll sum it up quickly. My friend, Chloe and I went to the airport and met a big group of other Beliebers and after waiting the entire day, we met Legaci, JB’s dancers, DJ Tay James, Scrappy and some others. DJ Tay James was filming us so look on his YouTube channel for video of it! The next day, we did a dance class with Marvin and Nick (Mike was also in the studio), they were so nice and funny and are seriously amazing dancers! We got to hear some funny stories about Justin too. Through out the next 2 days of skipping school and waiting at his hotel for hours in the cold, we ended up meeting everyone in Justin’s crew including Dan who is so sweet, Ryan is hilarious, Alfredo is so smiley, Scooter was so kind and caring (we got to talk to him for a while because there were only 2 other fans there) and his grandparents were SO patient and talkative, we met them 9 times ! His crew are so so so so amazing and kind. We decided to each give his grandparents a self addressed envelope with a stamp on it, a piece of paper inside and a note asking Justin to please sign it and send it back to us (we may as well try..NEVER SAY NEVER remember!) Then we went to the concert, words can’t even describe how incredible it was, I was crying during Love Me, I couldn’t believe that it was real , finally I was actually seeing him not just someone else’s video of him on Youtube. We knew that after he sang Baby he ran off stage to go straight back to his hotel before everyone left the arena, so the next night (there was a 2nd concert) we waited at his hotel. Then it was 9:35, he was due to arrive any minute. We then saw his car go past, he was in the front seat on his laptop, so we sprinted into the car park and because he’s famous, his parking spot had a garage door across it so we couldn’t get to hug him or take a picture with him but we could still see him and Kenny. Then this happened: Chloe “Hey Justin!” Justin turns around and says “Hey!” Both of us scream “I love you!” JUSTIN FREAKIN BIEBER says “I love you!” HE SAID HE LOVED ME. Then he asked if we liked the show and then went into the hotel. So after that we were crying and spazzing out and I was going crazy saying “IT’S TRUE! IT’S TRUE! NEVER SAY NEVER! IT’S ACTUALLY TRUE!” Then we met Ryan, Dan, Scooter etc again! I didn’t think that my Bieber experience could get any better but it did because one week later this happened: I arrived home, my Mum said to me “Go look in your room” guess what was on my desk… it was the envelope I gave his grandparents with the piece of paper I’d put in but this time it had JUSTIN BIEBER’S AUTOGRAPH and a love heart written on it. HIS GRANDPARENTS ACTUALLY GAVE IT TO HIM AND HE ACTUALLY BOTHERED TO SIGN IT AND SEND IT BACK TO ME . So then I was jumping around screaming “Is it real?! Are you serious?!” I still can’t believe that he actually bothered to do that. Justin, I can’t thank you enough, you’ve made my life, thank you so much for being so dedicated to your fans . I’ll support you no matter what, you’re amazing and through this experience I have truly learned to never give up, try as hard as I can to reach my dreams and to NEVER SAY NEVER .
